What are your payment options?

SPA is a non-profit organization. We don't accept any payments for the delivery of groceries from the food bank or case management services. Our in-house clinician provides therapy services at reduced rates. Right now we are only accepting self-pay and AETNA, though we will be accepting various other insurances soon, including Medicaid soon. 

What are your hours?

We are available 24/7 via text and calls at 919-346-6250 and email at abass@spaphilanthropy.org 9am - 11am, Mon through Fri.

What therapy theory/technique does your therapist use?

Our clinician utilizes an evidence-based theory known as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which has proven effective with several clients. Also utilized, is a strengths-based perspective and solution-focused approach to treating clients and these have also proven effective.

What services do you offer?

We offer discounted individual, family, and couple sessions that are available for children, teens, young adults, and adults. We serve a variety of clients needing mental health treatment for most mental illnesses including Anxiety, Major-Depressive, Panic, Obsessive-Compulsive, Attention-deficit/Hyperactivity or Attention Deficit disorders to name a few. SPA offers Telehealth therapy services and can be accessed anywhere in North Carolina.

We also provide free grocery delivery to home-bound clients, free consulting services for accessing federal government assistance, Outpatient therapy services, and soon to come- Day Treatment services for children 6 through 17 years of age with After-school transportation provided.

How long does each session take?

Each consultation phone/video call is 15 mins, food delivery (inquire HERE), and therapy sessions are anywhere from 53 minutes to 1 hour long.
